Jaws Inspirational Magazine Cover

The main image of this magazine is the Jaws cover which is always used when referring to the film Jaws, this is because it makes the film more recognisable to the audience. The main image should catch the audience's eye and draw their attention in, which is image does as it uses bold colours and a effective image of a shark. The quote which is placed over the image is very effective but it doesn't draw the attention away from the image. The red masthead against the blackground is used to represent the horror theme as these are typical colours used. They also make the blue image stand out because of a contrast of colours. This magazine is kept very simple and bold so it is easy for its target audience to recognise what the magazine is about whithout too many other things going on too as it has no cover lines except the main over lines with a quote.
